They have created, architected and pioneered numerous advancements in data enabling technologies, and delivered groundbreaking ideas which have shaped and transformed the storage industry.What will you bring to DDN5+ years development experience, with recent experience in Go, Python or C++Experience with authentication and authorization system design and integrationFamiliarity with identity provider integration eg OktaDistributed systems engineering experience, with working knowledge of containers, key/value databases and timeseries dataA strong conceptual understanding of filesystems, block and object storageExperience with hardware management interfaces such as IPMI and Redfish are a plusAdvanced skill in Linux, including networkingExperience working with geographically distributed teamsDemonstrated results of innovative thinking and deliveryWhat you have achieved…Experience developing REST API/CLIs for storage or computation resource managementA proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced environmentStrong testing skills to ensure new feature and regression coverageAbility to both operate and make progress independentlyExperience working on developer toolingDeep understanding of Storage Design Thinking (ideation, prototyping, testing, design frameworks and concept visualization)What will you be doingParticipate in the design and development of our Data Services and Software Defined Storage solutionConceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges and user scenariosWithin the Scrum model, participate in full product development lifecycle including planning, design, code, test, usability reviews, release and maintenanceParticipate in the engineering on-call rotation to provide excellent support to our customersParticipation in a team on-call rotation providing seven-day week out of hours coverage, including the provision of after-hours and weekend support work when required.This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.DDNOur team is highly motivated and focused on engineering excellence.We look for individuals who appreciate challenging themselves and thrive on curiosity.Engineers are encouraged to work across multiple areas of the company.We operate with a flat organizational structure.All employees are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission.Leadership is given to those who show initiative and consistently deliver excellence.
