A DAY IN THE LIFE:

South-West territory – ideally based in Toulouse

As a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist, you'll be the clinical and commercial face of Tandem within your territory, driving growth while providing expert education and support.

  • Achieve and exceed territory sales objectives through the clinical adoption of Tandem products and services.
  • Build trusted relationships with endocrinologists, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, diabetes nurses, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a clinical and educational expert in Type 1 diabetes management, insulin pump therapy, automated insulin delivery (AID), hybrid closed-loop systems, and continuous glucose monitoring technologies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute territory strategies that increase awareness and adoption of Tandem solutions.
  • Demonstrate the clinical and technical differentiation of Tandem products compared with competing technologies.
  • Deliver engaging educational presentations, workshops, and training sessions for patients, healthcare professionals, and clinic staff.
  • Coordinate and conduct product training programmes to ensure successful initiation and ongoing use of Tandem technologies.
  • Support both prospective and existing customers through diabetes education focused on advanced diabetes management skills and insulin pump therapy.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional partnerships across the diabetes care ecosystem.
  • Manage the certification and recertification process for Tandem Pump Trainers within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Customer Support, and other cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Share relevant clinical insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence with regional colleagues.
  • Represent Tandem at conferences, trade shows, symposia, educational events, and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer records using CRM systems and internal reporting tools.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

EXTRA AWESOME:

We're excited if you bring:

  • A nursing, dietetics, diabetes education, or related clinical background.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in diabetes care, endocrinology, medical device sales, or a related clinical field.
  • Demonstrated success in clinical sales and territory management.
  • Experience working directly with healthcare prescribers and multidisciplinary diabetes care teams.
  • Strong knowledge of: Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes management
  • Insulin pump therapy
  • Hybrid closed-loop and Automated Insulin Delivery systems
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technologies
  • Infusion sets
  • Carbohydrate counting
  • Diabetes emergency management protocols
  • Experience developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and influential clinical stakeholders.
  • The ability to communicate complex clinical concepts in a clear, engaging, and practical way.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Experience using CRM systems and digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Fluency in French and a good working knowledge of English.
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively throughout the territory, with occasional international travel for meetings and training.
