A Fullstack Software Engineer will join Alan's Product Platform team, helping to build reusable internal services that enable product teams to move faster and launch products across multiple countries. Scope – Product Platform Our focus is on building reusable internal capabilities that power multiple product flows: Core Services: APIs & systems such as Payment, Messaging, Document Processing, and Pricing Engine Shared Platforms: Centralized services (e.g. AI Platform) adopted across areas Operational Tooling: Dashboards and automation supporting reliability, observability, and scalability Foundational UX: Quality and consistency through shared layout systems, navigation, and reusable UI components Impact Your work will be used daily by hundreds of product builders across Alan. You’ll shape reusable building blocks that accelerate product launches across multiple countries. By improving adoption of our services, you’ll directly improve product velocity, consistency, and member experience. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain internal services, APIs, and SDKs for product teams. Encapsulate complexity and expose clear interfaces for reusable building blocks. Collaborate with product crews across Alan, Architecture Group, and Tech Foundation Area to ensure global scalability and alignment with technical strategy. Drive adoption, reliability, and performance of internal platform services. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture. Qualifications 3+ years in backend, platform, or infrastructure‑oriented engineering. Experience designing and maintaining internal services, APIs, or SDKs.
