The Group manages fleet insurance through the Europrogram and centrally places major corporate policies (D&O, Cyber, Property & Business Interruption, Environmental Liability, Travel Assistance) to ensure cohesive coverage, scale, and regulatory compliance. Insurance also collaborates with the Ancillary Revenue team to develop customer-facing offerings.Major areas of accountabilityRisk & Insurance StrategyDefine and execute the Group's insurance and risk strategy in line with mobility trends and business goals.Oversee risk financing, retention levels, and program structures, including captives and reinsurance.Insurance Program LeadershipLead the Europrogram and other fleet insurance structures, ensuring consistent coverage, cost efficiency, and alignment across markets.Manage central placement of corporate policies (D&O, Cyber, Property, Environmental Liability), optimizing global coverage and cost.Market & Broker ManagementNegotiate with insurers, reinsurers, and brokers to secure competitive terms and build strong long-term partnerships.Monitor market developments and regulatory changes to adapt the Group's insurance strategy.Claims & Performance OversightEnsure effective claims handling and performance tracking across all programs.Drive loss control, data transparency, and continuous improvement.Governance, Reporting & ComplianceMaintain regulatory and internal governance compliance.Deliver clear reporting and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with Product/Service Line leaders to design and approve customer-facing insurance products.Embed insurance strategy in commercial planning and ancillary revenue development.Leadership & Vendor ManagementLead and develop the Group Insurance team.Manage broker, insurer, and service provider relationships to support strategic goals.Internal and External RelationshipsInternal: Group/local insurance managers; Finance; Legal; Fleet; Operations; Procurement; Commercial; Executive leadership.External: Insurers and reinsurers; Brokers; Actuarial advisors; Claims administrators; Risk consultants; Regulators (as needed).Qualifications and ExperienceExperience: Proven track record of at least 8 years managing insurance programs within a multinational or financial services environment, ideally including fleet or mobility-related risk.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.Professional qualifications (highly desirable): CIP (Ireland), ACII (UK), Versicherungsfachwirt (IHK) (Germany), or Master Assurance / CII equivalent (France).Relevant Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage.Languages: Fluency in English; German or French is a strong advantage.Skills and CompetenciesInsurance Mastery: Deep expertise in fleet and corporate insurance structures with program leadership.Strategic Leadership: Ability to set direction and influence outcomes across functions and geographies.Analytical Precision: Data-driven mindset to unlock insights and optimize performance.Commercial & Negotiation: Skilled at negotiating with insurers, brokers, and partners.Execution Excellence: Delivers outcomes in complex environments with speed and clarity.Change & Transformation: Experience driving improvement and adoption across teams.Seniority and Employment TypeSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: FinanceIndustries: Sightseeing Transportation and Urban Transit ServicesNote: This description reflects the responsibilities and requirements for the Head of Insurance role at Europcar Mobility Group. #J-18808-Ljbffr
