YOUR MISSIONS As part of our Product and Engineering department, you’ll be a part of the Platform tribe and manage a talented group of 4 SREs. Together, you’ll define and implement the company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems operate efficiently and reliably. Currently, our main focuses are DRP, monitoring, SLOs and resiliency with multi‑region setup. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers to ensure high performance, growth, and engagement Build and scale the SRE team, define hiring strategy and conduct technical interviews Support and guide SREs through knowledge‑sharing and collaboration, fostering continuous improvement across the team Organize and prioritize SRE roadmaps to ensure that the infrastructure is aligned with customer needs (internal and external) Interact with stakeholders and senior management, ensuring alignment and effective communication on key initiatives Promote the team’s work and efforts in the engineering department Manage and operate platform budgets and third‑party contracts Promote automation and SRE best practices to optimize operational efficiency ABOUT YOU 5+ years of relevant work experience with public clouds or Kubernetes 2+ years of relevant work experience with managing or mentoring remote engineers Experience in project management, enabling you to oversee and drive initiatives from planning to successful delivery Strong presentation and communication skills to collaborate with different teams and share problems and solutions effectively Experience in operating and promoting monitoring tools and reliability frameworks for an engineering department Practice of Infrastructure as code Solid understanding of incident management and ability to work effectively during critical incidents Practice of English OUR TECHNICAL STACK Cloud providers: GCP, CloudFlare, AWS Backend: Python + FastAPI and Flask Frontend: React / Typescript Databases technologies: PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery Log and error management: Datadog, Sentry CI/CD: Github Actions, Docker Monitoring: Datadog Infrastructure as Code: Terraform OUR VALUES Raise the bar Do the right thing Test, Learn, Repeat Make it happen Lead with humility DIVERSITY & INCLUSION At Alma, we're committed to fostering an environment where diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our values.
