## Natural Extract DeveloperGrasse Naturals Center, France**Job title:** Natural Extract Developer**Location:** Grasse, FranceOur team in Grasse is looking for a Natural Extract Developer to drive the creation and industrialization of innovative natural extracts. In this role, you will take projects from laboratory concept to full-scale production, leveraging our unique assets and expertise to deliver high-quality, nature-inspired solutions that meet evolving market needs.At dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated.**Key Responsibilities:*** Design, Execute, optimize lab and pilot trials.* Lead projects from lab to industrialization (including pilot and process transfer).* Be in charge and accountable for documentation and lab reporting.* Lead technical meetings with peers and management.* Interact with scientists, perfumers, and flavorist to deliver state-of-the-art new products for the market.* Interact with operation teams to ensure safety and quality up to the highest standards.**We** **bring:*** A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers.* A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset.* A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally.* To be part of an interdisciplinary team of highly skilled scientists on an industrial site.* Exciting projects & possibility to actively contribute to the development and production of sustainable products.**You bring:*** MS degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, biochemical engineering or related field.* At least 5 years of experience in R&D or Production, preferably in F&F, food, cosmetics, Nutraceuticals or Specialty/Fine Chemicals.* Good knowledge in extraction and purification processes of Natural products (ideally F&F industry).* Able to work autonomously at lab scale and experience at pilot and industrial scale.* Strong data analysis and interpretation mindset.* Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work.
