Our client is a global engineering consultancy specialising in Data Centres and Mission Critical infrastructure. Due to continued growth across Europe, they are looking to appoint a Senior Design Manager to support the delivery of major hyperscale and mission-critical projects from their Paris office.
The Role
As Senior Design Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage key stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and design development through construction and project completion.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, programme, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams across complex Data Centre projects.
- Coordinate the design process from concept through construction delivery.
- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and technical coordination meetings.
- Monitor programme, design quality, project risks, and deliverables.
- Support successful project delivery through effective planning and stakeholder management.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the business.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Design Management within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Building Services, Construction, or Engineering Consultancy environments.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination and MEP systems.
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing complex projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
