Offer Description
The University of Caen Normandy – CERREV is recruiting a Research Assistant for a 16-month part-time position (50%), starting November 1st, 2026. The successful candidate will provide research, coordination and communication support within a research programme, coordinated by Milena Doytcheva at UCN, in the field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In particular, she/he will be in charge of:
- Supporting the organisation and implementation of research activities and fieldwork;
- Assisting with the collection, organisation and management of research materials and qualitative data;
- Supporting the coordination of research activities, meetings and exchanges with research partners, in liaison avec Milena Doytcheva
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of academic and research events;
- Providing general administrative and logistical support for research and collaborative activities.
This recruitment is subject to the award of the RIN Labels d’excellence research grant.

Requirements
Research Field Sociology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
Successful applicants will hold a Master’s degree in the Social Science and/or be enrolled in a PhD programme. Proficiency in English will be considered an advantage, as well as previous experience/interest in the area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The position is based at the University of Caen Normandy, CERREV. On-site presence will be expected throughout the contract in order to support the research team and participate in the coordination of research activities.
