Position Head of Engineering – Lead and coach the engineering organisation, shape future freight technology, and drive our engineering culture and delivery at OVRSEA. What You’ll Do Technical Excellence & Architecture Define and uphold OVRSEA’s long‑term technical vision and architecture across core platforms. Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, security and documentation. Lead major architectural evolutions and address technical debt. Support the adoption of automation, data and AI features where they add clear value. Delivery & Operational Impact Ensure teams ship predictably with high quality and strong ownership. Partner with PMs to deliver new features across the TMS and OneChain SaaS. Strengthen operational excellence: CI/CD, monitoring, observability, incident response, SLO culture and post‑mortems. Cross‑Functional Leadership Collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales and Business Growth to define and execute OVRSEA’s roadmap. Represent engineering in strategy discussions, balancing technical constraints with customer value and market opportunity. Guide the transformation to an AI‑augmented freight forwarder, identifying high‑impact use cases and ensuring adoption across teams. Work with logistics partners to integrate deeply and reliably with their data and operational flows. Team Leadership & People Management Co‑manage Engineering Managers and senior engineers, providing growth feedback and clarity. Foster a collaborative culture based on autonomy, ownership, care and continuous improvement. Build a high‑performing team through hiring, setting higher technical and managerial standards. Create clear roles, aligned expectations, career progression frameworks and effective communication rituals. Great Fit If Strong experience leading engineering teams and managing managers.
