Account Manager – Banking Software Solutions

Overview As an Account Manager at SBS, you will be a quota-carrying individual contributor responsible for managing a portfolio of existing banking clients in the French market. Your mission is to strengthen long-term relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and drive revenue growth through upselling, cross‑selling, and strategic account development. You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, aligning their business objectives with SBS’s suite of solutions—including Core Banking, Digital Engagement, Digital Lending, Regulatory Reporting, Payments (e.g., Wero), Open Banking, and AI‑powered innovations. This role requires a consultative mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for helping clients succeed in their digital transformation journey. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management & Growth Own the end‑to‑end commercial relationship for a defined set of existing clients Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive client retention and revenue expansion Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities aligned with client needs and SBS offerings Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and executive‑level stakeholders Lead client meetings, QBRs, and solution reviews to ensure satisfaction and uncover new needs Sales Execution & Forecasting Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets Collaborate with pre‑sales, product, and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals and demos Lead or support responses to RFx and contract renewals Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in CRM tools (Salesforce) Strategic Collaboration & Market Insight Work closely with marketing and product teams to align go‑to‑market strategies with client feedback Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity to inform account strategy Represent SBS at client events and industry forums to reinforce brand presence and thought leadership Qualifications Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in enterprise software account management or B2B sales Proven success in managing and growing accounts, ideally in banking or fintech Strong understanding of digital banking, SaaS models, and financial services technologies Fluent in French and proficient in English Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Key Skills Account Planning & Strategic Growth Relationship Building & Client Advocacy Solution Selling & Consultative Sales Contract Negotiation & Deal Structuring CRM Proficiency (Salesforce) Industry Knowledge (Banking, Fintech, AI) Resilience, Autonomy & Adaptability SBS Offers A dynamic, fast‑paced, and stimulating work environment that encourages innovation and growth.
