Engineering Manager Hands‑on - Solution à destination du retail - Paris (HF) H/F at Kicklox Overview Kicklox is a startup founded in 2018 that delivers an AI‑powered decision support tool for retailers, providing fine analysis based on their data. With about 100 employees, the company is profitable from the first year and continues to grow responsibly while maintaining a strong technical environment. Responsibilities Lead a squad of 8–10 developers, providing technical leadership and human management. Dedicate more than 50% of time to team direction, including setting objectives, ensuring quality of activity, and managing career plans. Design, develop, and oversee complex features, ensuring scalability, quality, and adherence to deadlines. Supervise development work and enforce best practices. Collaborate closely with product and business teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Technical Stack Ruby 3, Rails 7 Next.js, React 18, TypeScript 5, Storybook 7, Tailwind, Nx 17 Redis, PostgreSQL Working Conditions Start date: immediately Contract: Full‑time CDI Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 per year, commensurate with experience Location: Paris, France (partial remote work) Requirements 6+ years of web development experience (Ruby is a plus but not required). Significant management experience, preferably in startup or scale‑up environments. Strong curiosity about technology and best practices. Background in challenging startup/scale‑up contexts.
