Key Responsibilities Of The Role Adherence to the project & Mercury Engineering Safety Management system Adherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation Adherence to Mercury Engineering & PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans. Assist with the onboarding of Mercury employees & Subcontractors as per Legislation and MER Rules, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place. Coordination in the development of task specific Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to work. Compliance with the project execution plan. Coordination of project safety indicators. Good Safety Practices are managed & maintained. Ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances. Ensuring that safety interventions are completed & registered. Carry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions. Maintain records of statutory inspections are available for project activities, tool and plant. Adopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirements. Ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Provide Safety input to site management & at site EHS forums. Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures. Ensure that Mercury Engineering induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained. Project PPE is resourced & available. Compile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessary Assist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Mercury Engineering project management. Welfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained. Liaison with site Project Management on environmental, health & safety issues. Up to date documentation is included with the Safety File. Waste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures. Any other duties associated with this role. Essential Criteria For The Role Relevant qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety 7+ years’ experience of managing environmental, health and safety on large construction sites. Experience working on Data Centres if possible. 5+ years managing a team of EHS advisors Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation Flexibility in working patterns where necessary. Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site. Strong communication & computer skills, Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.\Close attention to detail Good team-working skills Principales Responsabilités Du Poste Respect du système de gestion de la sécurité du projet et de Mercury Engineering Respect des dispositions légales et réglementaires pertinentes en matière d'environnement, de santé et de sécurité Respect des plans environnementaux, de santé et de sécurité de Mercury Engineering et de PSCS. Aider à l'intégration des employés et sous-traitants de Mercury conformément à la législation et aux règles de MER, en veillant à ce que toute la documentation pertinente soit en place. Coordination dans l'élaboration des méthodes de travail spécifiques à la tâche, des évaluations des risques, du plan d'action sécuritaire et du permis de travail. Respect du plan d'exécution du projet. Coordination des indicateurs de sécurité du projet. Les bonnes pratiques de sécurité sont gérées et maintenues. Évaluations COSHH en cours, contrôle des substances dangereuses. S'assurer que les interventions en matière de sécurité sont réalisées et enregistrées. Effectuer des audits et des inspections réguliers sur site, documenter les résultats et assurer le suivi des actions correctives. Les registres des inspections réglementaires sont disponibles pour les activités du projet, l'outillage et les installations. Adoptez une approche proactive en matière d'exigences EHS du projet. Capacité à travailler de manière autonome ou en équipe. Fournir des informations sur sécurité à la direction du site et lors des forums EHS du site. S’assurer que les sous-traitants du projet respectent les politiques et procédures EHS du projet et du groupe. Veiller à ce que l'accueil et la formation des ingénieurs de Mercury Engineering soient coordonnés, gérés et maintenus. Le projet PPE dispose des ressources nécessaires et est disponible. Rédiger et animer des causeries sur les outils, selon les besoins. Rédiger et effectuer en temps opportun les rapports d'enquête sur les accidents et assurer la communication avec la direction du projet Mercury Engineering. Des installations sanitaires et d'hygiène sont en place, gérées et entretenues. Assurer la liaison avec la direction du projet sur les questions environnementales, de santé et de sécurité. La documentation à jour est incluse dans le dossier de sécurité. Les programmes de réduction et de recyclage des déchets sont maintenus conformément aux politiques et procédures du projet. Toute autre tâche liée à ce poste. Critères Essentiels Pour Le Poste Qualification pertinente en environnement, santé et sécurité Plus de 7 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de l'environnement, de la santé et de la sécurité sur de grands chantiers de construction. Expérience de travail dans les centres de données si possible. Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la gestion d'une équipe de conseillers en environnement, santé et sécurité au travail Connaissance approfondie de la législation en vigueur en matière d'environnement, de santé et de sécurité Flexibilité des modalités de travail lorsque cela est nécessaire. Capacité à gérer efficacement tous les aspects environnementaux, sanitaires et de sécurité sur le site. Solides compétences en communication et en informatique, Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et excellentes aptitudes relationnelles et de communication.
