Global Sales Manager - Food Ingredients Your mission as the Global Sales Manager of Food Ingredients is to elevate our existing sales. After 3 years chasing low‑hanging fruit, analysing hundreds of side‑streams, and creating dozens of ingredients, we’ve confirmed that this product category is ready to grow—and grow big. We’re at the beginning of something huge. This is a unique opportunity to join the category and push sales with no limits. Day to Day Use B2B sales knowledge and understand the value chain to sell the right ingredients at the right place to the right clients. Map and prospect new clients, new countries, and new regions. Leverage internal knowledge and support to bring top‑notch service to clients. Achieve ambitious sales targets (with unlimited incentive). Monitor and improve profitability of your portfolio. We expect you to build a strong and rigorous sales pipeline while also monitoring key accounts to create upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. The world is your limit and we have only begun to explore it. The Team Around You You will be part of the Sales team with a direct touch point to category experts who will provide all the knowledge and direction you need to be fully effective in a short period of time. Leveraging teammates in sourcing, quality, product development, logistics, or finance will also be key to succeed in this role. Skills Needed You understand B2B industry sales and have 7–9 years of experience in food ingredients. A technical background in the food business is required; agro‑engineering is best. You already know one of our categories (Spices & Herbs, Juice Concentrates & Derivatives, Oils & Fats, Bulk Flours, etc.); this is a fast‑track to performance. You are proactive and can anticipate quality & specification constraints of both clients and products. You know how to prospect – it’s a game you like to play. Great communication & listening skills: balance ego, clear points, always propose a solution when spotting a problem. Fluent English; any additional language is a plus. Conditions Contract: Permanent – Full Time. Preferred location: Ideally based in Avignon. Remote work may be considered under specific conditions, but being onsite accelerates performance and team energy. Home office: Max 2 days a week, starting after 1 month. Meeting structure: 30‑min intro, 60‑min deep‑dive + scorecard, 4th & final onsite meeting with the whole team. The whole process duration is about 3–4 weeks.
