As Chief Technology Officer, you will be part of the leadership team and own the studio’s global technical vision. Your mission is to design and execute a long-term technology strategy that supports the growth of the current game and the development of future titles. This is a hands‑on strategic role at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, with a clear mandate to scale systems, teams, and processes over the next few years. Key Responsibilities Define and drive a multi‑year technical strategy aligned with product goals and studio growth. Anticipate and address scaling challenges across engine, backend, frontend, infrastructure, pipelines, security, and internal tools. Lead technical innovation initiatives and related funding programs (e.g. R&D / tax credit schemes). Oversee architecture decisions, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity. Ensure strong technical quality, risk management, and performance across live and future games. Manage and collaborate with external technology partners and vendors. Lead, mentor, and structure engineering teams (backend, frontend, tools), promoting best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Build, within a defined timeframe, a senior engineering organization capable of supporting multiple live games. We are looking for a seasoned technology leader with deep roots in game development and proven experience scaling teams and systems. Requirements 15+ years of experience in video game development, and ideally experience with F2P and live mobile games Strong background as a Lead Engineer or equivalent At least 2 years in a CTO or Head of Technology role Proven ability to align technical decisions with long‑term product and business objectives French professional proficiency is a must Core Skills Strategic thinker with a clear long‑term vision Strong expertise in architectures, systems, tools, and performance optimization Ability to translate complex technical topics for non‑technical stakeholders Comfortable making trade‑offs and managing technical risk Natural leader who mentors, empowers, and grows engineers Curious mindset and continuous drive for improvement and innovation Open, collaborative, and pragmatic leadership style Why This Role?
