Join to apply for the Solar Asset Manager (M/F) role at Neoen1 year ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Solar Asset Manager (M/F) role at NeoenIn France, Neoen operates 600MW of solar, 350MW of wind and 22MW of storage, and nearly 300MW of additional capacity is under construction in this country.Our Asset Management Department is looking for a Solar Asset Manager who will report to the Asset Management Lead who will manage all Operation and Maintenance dimensions of a group of solar assets, in line with Neoen’s strategic direction and in view of maintaining the highest value of the assets thanks to the maximization of their generated revenue and maintaining their operation capability over time.Consequently, the Asset Manager needs to oversee globally all the aspects relevant to the assets performance, either from their technical, financial and corporate and social responsibility perspective.The main responsibilities will be the following :Supervise different assets (regular travels will be required)Maximize production and billing of the power plant to meet or exceed the business plan, minimize downtime and maximize efficiencyMonitor the plants performance through adequate KPIs and detect and resolve issues on daily, weekly and monthly basisTrack and calculate all losses the plants incur on a daily/weekly/monthly basisImplement corrective action plansMonitor the actuals vs budget and explain the differencesSupervise O&M contractors and external consultants involved in preparation and execution of the Operation and Maintenance activitiesEnsure that the asset is operating in accordance with the contractual obligations of the O&M contractorsMonitor the punch list items resulting from the construction worksEnsure Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental objectives are achievedEnsure operations and maintenance performance targets are achievedEnsure maintenance outcomes are achieved while fostering a planned maintenance cultureManage the compliance of the assets and the mitigations measures required by the authoritiesManage the PPA contractsManage relationship with stakeholders during O&M (off-taker, grid operator, O&M contractor, landowners, lenders, etc...)Coordinate and liaise as required with local communities to ensure the continuity of the relations established throughout the assets development and construction periodPrepare the budget forecasts for the O&M and update them on a monthly basis based upon actuals provided by Neoen’s finance departmentPrepare O&M reporting for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with relevant agreementsInitiate claims against contractors or manufacturers if necessaryDeclare claims to insurers in case of incident and ensure follow-upHandles any third party claimsProvide assistance to the Development team for setting-up O&M solutions, discuss with potential contractors/other parties or negotiating O&M agreements before financial close of future projectsKey Stakeholders relationships :Off takersO&M contractorThird partiesLenders or their agentsContractorsRegulatory authoritiesOther local authoritiesConsultantsLandownersLocal communitiesDegree in engineering (process / civil / mechanical / electrical / environment)Additional Business/Project management qualification would be a plus5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the solar energy sectorWorking knowledge and understanding of renewable energy plants and equipment such as solar plants and associated electrical equipment, auxiliary plant and high voltage infrastructureHigh level troubleshooting and problem solving skills and the ability to be technically innovativeContract management experienceDemonstrated up-to-date working knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety & Environment requirementsWell-developed computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Effective planning and organizational skillsEffective leadership and supervision skillsExcellent communication and liaison skills with the proven ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersAutonomyWillingness to take wide responsibilityAbility to travel to the sitesFrench driving licenseEnglish speakingSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionFinance and SalesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Neoen by 2xGet notified about new Asset Manager jobs in Paris, Île-de-France, France.Courbevoie, Île-de-France, France 2 weeks agoPuteaux, Île-de-France, France 1 month agoAlternance - Asset Manager junior recyclage (F/H)Secured Finance Portfolio Manager AssistantAsset manager galeries commerciales (F/H)Puteaux, Île-de-France, France 3 weeks agoWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
