A global semiconductor technology business is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow its presence across the data centre market.

Based from the company’s Paris-area office, you will manage and develop strategic customer relationships, expand market share and create new commercial opportunities. The role combines consultative selling, account development, commercial negotiation and close coordination with global product, engineering and supply teams.

The role

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days onsite - Southern Paris.

You will take ownership of key data centre accounts while identifying prospects with strong long-term potential. Working directly with customer decision-makers, including data centre operators, cloud service providers, server manufacturers, system integrators and technology partners, you will develop commercially valuable partnerships and position semiconductor solutions against evolving infrastructure requirements.

The portfolio is expected to include memory and storage technologies used throughout modern data centre architectures. This may include DRAM and high-bandwidth memory for servers, accelerators and AI workloads; enterprise SSDs and NAND-based storage for high-performance and high-capacity applications; memory modules and related solutions for server platforms; and emerging memory technologies designed to support increasing demands for bandwidth, capacity, energy efficiency and data processing.

You will help customers understand how memory and storage products can support applications such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, hyperscale infrastructure, enterprise servers, high-performance computing and data-intensive workloads. The role will require an appreciation of the wider data centre ecosystem, including server and accelerator platforms, networking, storage architectures, workload optimisation, power consumption, thermal constraints and total cost of ownership.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and expanding long-term relationships with data centre customers.
  • Developing mutually beneficial account and cooperation strategies.
  • Assessing the commercial potential of prospective customers.
  • Identifying new opportunities and creating a sustainable future sales pipeline.
  • Engaging senior decision-makers to secure long-term business awards.
  • Positioning memory, storage and related semiconductor solutions against customer requirements.
  • Understanding customer roadmaps, platform designs, qualification processes and procurement models.
  • Presenting the value of DRAM, high-bandwidth memory, enterprise SSDs, NAND storage and related products for data centre applications.
  • Leading pricing, commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Reviewing business performance and ensuring compliance with agreed commercial frameworks.
  • Managing product forecasts to support reliable global supply and customer demand.
  • Coordinating with product marketing, applications engineering, operations and supply-chain teams.
  • Monitoring market developments, competitor activity, technology transitions and customer investment plans.
  • Protecting existing revenue while driving market-share growth.

You will bring:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in electronics or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of semiconductor and/or data centre market sales experience.
  • Written and spoken fluency in French and English.
  • Familiarity with memory and storage products, such as DRAM, high-bandwidth memory, server memory modules, NAND flash and enterprise SSDs.
  • An understanding of how memory and storage technologies support servers, accelerators, AI systems, cloud platforms and high-performance computing.
  • Awareness of data centre architecture, customer qualification cycles, supply planning and the commercial factors influencing infrastructure investment.
  • A proactive, consultative approach to business development.
  • Strong account-management and customer-facing experience.
  • The ability to present products, technologies and commercial concepts persuasively to both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills across different levels of an organisation.
  • The confidence to take initiative and work effectively with limited supervision.
