You will design electronic boards to allow testing of electronic components on a chip (Wafer test) or in a package (Final test). Those electronic cards will be used to interface between Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Device Under Test (DUT), in accordance with our procedures and quality standards of society and industry and following the guidelines defined by your manager.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will participate in the development of the hardware activity for Test and be responsible for the execution of the development of electronic test boards including:Design of the technical test hardware solutionRealization of the board with selected subcontractorsValidation of the electronic boardWrite of the reports and technical documentation in accordance with written quality procedures.Liaison with customer, review test specifications from ASIC designers (customers) and provide feedback regarding testability and requirements towards the hardware test solution.You will work jointly with Test Engineers to discuss and find solutions to complex test requirements.You will monitor and provide regular updates on your projects, including estimates and key project milestones to the project management team.You will participate in the implementation of new techniques and continuous improvement within the Hardware Design Team.You ensure the technological watch in the field of application falling within your competence, propose axes of innovation or R&D improvement. You have the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team.A good knowledge in the following areas is required:RequirementsEducation: Ideally Engineering degree (French, DK or UK Bac + 5 level) in Electronics.Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design of electronic boardsGood knowledge in printed circuits board technologiesKnowledge of component testing is a plus.FPGA programming experienceExperience in the use of laboratory instrumentation: Programmable power supply, signal generator, Power measurement, Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)Proficiency in MS Office tools.Good communication skills and ability to manage customer interactions at the engineering level.English spoken and written compulsory.Location & TravelThis role is eligible for Flexible Working From Home (FWFH) on occasions in agreement with the Hardware design Manager, but will mostly be based at our office. The role will be based at our office in Caen, France.
