COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR FINE JEWELLERY & TIMEPIECES (CDD) Commercial Director Fine Jewellery & Timepieces – Business Unit Joaillerie & Horlogerie, Christian Dior Couture. Reports to the General Director and is a member of the Business Unit steering committee. Role Scope: Responsible for the retail strategy, merchandising and market relations across multiple international markets. Europe Asia Middle East Americas Key Responsibilities Define the vision and 3‑year commercial strategy for Fine Jewellery & Timepieces. Build and manage annual and monthly sales budgets by market (volume and revenue). Plan and monitor budgets and showrooms. Lead the merchandising team to deliver the right product at the right place, at the right time, in collaboration with supply chain. Develop and monitor retail projects that elevate the category inside & outside the Maison, working with training, CRM and operations. Market Relationship Management Partner with Zone Heads to strengthen the community of Fine Jewellery & Timepieces ambassadors and drive market development. Conduct weekly/monthly follow‑ups on sales results, new‑product performance, store‑level metrics and design targeted action plans (training, incentives, tools, etc.). Define client development strategy with CRM and steer dedicated retail events. Track network changes (openings, renovations) to ensure FJ&T spaces align with sales potential. Management Lead a direct team of three and collaborate cross‑functionally with regional business champions. Qualifications & Experience 15‑18 years of experience in retail or merchandising in luxury, with a sophisticated client‑centric approach. International exposure, especially in key Fine Jewellery markets (USA, China, Europe). Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Personal Qualities Deep expertise in sales best practices and luxury retail. Strategic vision and ability to drive transformative projects. Inspirational leadership that encourages collaboration and breaks silos. Strong product and customer focus. Agile mindset, courageous, driven by challenge and results. Entrepreneurial spirit and fast implementation of operational projects. Hands‑on and equally strategic. Excellent relational skills, interacting with product, retail and communication experts.
