Our mission is to help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers feel proud, turning health benefits from a cost centre into their most valuable investment.We build a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare into one system, connecting all aspects of care to create a member‑centric experience.MissionProvide product crews with reliable, reusable, and simple internal services that encapsulate complexity and expose clear interfaces.ScopeCore Services: APIs & systems such as Payment, Messaging, Document Processing, Pricing Engine.Shared Platforms: Centralized services (e.g., AI Platform) with strong adoption across areas.Operational Tooling: Dashboards and automation for reliability, observability, and scalability.Foundational User Experience: Shared layout systems, navigation, reusable UI components.ImpactWork is used daily by hundreds of product builders across Alan.Shape reusable building blocks that speed product launches across multiple countries.Improve adoption of services to boost product velocity, consistency, and member experience.Why this role is specialHigh leverage: Your work is multiplied across the company – adoption & reliability are our main KPIs.Complex problems: multi‑country services, abstraction design, and adoption challenges.Platform mindset: build services like a product, with other engineers as customers.Ownership: influence product direction, mentor engineers, shape Alan’s internal platform for years to come.The StackPython/Flask, React, PostgreSQL in a monorepo.
