Role Overview The Digital Pathology Product Specialist (EMEA) is responsible for collaborating with the Digital Pathology Business Unit to review and maintain instrument quality reporting, serve as a qualified trainer for the supported products, and provide 2nd‑level escalation support leading activities and coordinating with other internal teams such as the Business Unit. Working with broad cross‑functional teams across EMEA ensures large complex implementations at direct & indirect customers are achieved on time with maximum efficiency. Responsibilities Provide advanced remote and on‑site escalation support of Digital Pathology products to the EMEA Selling Units, including leading activities and coordinating with other internal teams (SU 2nd‑Level Support and the Business Unit) to minimize customer downtime, generate revenue opportunities, communicate trends and resolve parts issues. Support large complex implementations and customers within direct and indirect regions. Provide proactive technical support through dissemination of technical memos, bulletins, and related information, as well as recurring Service Excellence calls covering trends, upcoming changes and best‑practice sharing. Work collaboratively with product management, R&D, manufacturing and other relevant BU departments to review and maintain instrument quality reporting, proactively identify declining quality trends and develop potential countermeasures. Work with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, assist with training and mentor team members to improve overall performance of the EMEA SU Service Organization. Qualifications Field Service Engineering experience with an associate degree or equivalent technical specialist work experience. Medical laboratory experience. Strong time‑management and productivity skills in service call handling. Strong technical acumen – analytical with the ability to understand complex system operation and troubleshooting. Proficiency with test equipment used in field service support. Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of digital pathology instruments is a plus. Travel & Physical Requirements Travel: Able to travel approximately 50 % of the time, including overnight travel as required. Language: English and French. Location EMEA. Join our winning team today.
