OverviewFinancial Reporting Manager H/F at Condé Nast – join a global media leader producing high‑quality content for more than a billion consumers across 32 markets.ResponsibilitiesFinancial reporting, compliance and accountingSupport the Director Financial Controller France in the preparation and coordination of the month‑end closure (MEC) for management accounts, including variance analysis.Review monthly income statement, balance sheet and key balance‑sheet reconciliations.Control agreed accounting activities to ensure they are performed in accordance with national regulatory reporting requirements and CN Global standard processes, policies and controls, including US GAAP.Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and all associated regulatory filings.Participate, where applicable, in the statutory audit process of local GAAP, engaging with KPMG to ensure the audit process, deadlines and consistency.Manage and support external audit missions (e.g. VAT, taxes) and internal audits (GIA).Review tax calculations and VAT declarations and liaise with tax advisors.Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, including monthly variance analysis.Review and approve all low‑ or medium‑value journal entries and all judgment‑based manual entries.ManagementSenior responsibility of the Financial Accountant to achieve global and local objectives.Coordinate with the Bangalore team to resolve issues and ensure MEC deadlines are met.Create and produce accounts payable/receivable management reports.Maintain and manage the expense reimbursement system.Manage and supervise tax compliance, inter‑company operations, transfer‑pricing policies, etc.Process improvementReview the balance‑sheet reconciliation process performed by the Controlling Operations team, evaluate reconciliation quality, contribute to action plans for unreconciled items and approve low‑ to medium‑priority reconciliations when agreed.Contribute to defining reporting standards, policies, processes and internal controls with stakeholders, including Controlling Ops, Corporate Finance, Tax and Treasury.Support the Bangalore Controlling Ops team to identify and implement process and technology improvement opportunities, including initiatives to retire legacy applications in favor of global processes and systems.Apply an understanding of assigned accounting processes to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures.QualificationsQualified accountant with post‑qualification experience.Technical skills in local GAAP and professional financial analysis; ideally experience with US GAAP.Experience in an intermediate financial role within a large, complex organization and leading management control teams.Practical knowledge of direct and indirect tax, including corporate tax, VAT and personal income tax.Experience in financial process transformation, automation and change adoption in financial and non‑financial teams.Internal networking.Strong communication and presentation skills.Sector knowledge.Technical expertise.Desired experience with Workday.LocationParis, 75 CApplicationSi vous êtes intéressé(e) par cette opportunité, veuillez postuler ci‑dessous.
