The homework support program is offered in all elementary schools to help children complete their schoolwork.
This assistance is intended for students who are looking for a suitable environment (calm and studious atmosphere and provides them with collective tools: dictionaries, documentation, computers etc.), or for students who need help (to get to work, to acquire regular habits or good personal work methods, to learn to organize themselves).
Job positioning:
Hierarchical reporting: the facilitator is placed under the authority of the head of the educational service in conjunction with the pedagogical manager of the structure.
Activities
1/ Group facilitation
- To support students in the completion of their individual work,
- Consider solutions to help with learning lessons and completing homework,
- To contribute to the development of students' autonomy in their ability to conduct personal work outside of class.
2/ Mobilization of the various stakeholders
- Welcoming families and children,
- To establish any partnership likely to be beneficial to children/young people, by promoting their learning, their self-confidence and their cultural openness.
- Promote communication among stakeholders in the educational community, particularly families.
Required skills
Knowledge
- BAFA recommended;
- Knowledge of different audiences;
- Knowledge of animation methods adapted to the audience;
Expertise
- Knowing how to organize oneself and anticipate needs,
- Ability to work in a team and communicate.

Job specifics
- Position available during school terms, Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
