Public Sector at Alan Since 2022, our Public Sector team has evolved from a bet into becoming Alan’s biggest acquisition driver. Recent successes include the Ministère des Finances, Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile, Ministère de l’Ecologie, Services du Premier Ministre, and earlier the Assemblée Nationale, combining up to 300k members. This strategic shift will enable us to pursue three parallel opportunities: Scale our presence in Établissements Publics through a structured, repeatable approach. Launch and execute our go‑to‑market strategy for Fonction Publique Territoriale and prepare our approach for Fonction Publique Hospitalière. Your Mission We are looking for a Public Sector Account Executive to develop our Public Sector portfolio across ministries, territorial communities, and public institutions. Responsibilities Portfolio Development & Prospecting Define strategic targets in the public sector. Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RfPs (calls for tenders). Respond to relevant RfPs – important written and project management part. Prepare for and participate in oral presentations. Post‑win, oversee Alan’s deployment with Key Account Manager and ensure admin and member satisfaction. Continuous Improvement CRM: contribute to building the appropriate setup in Salesforce. RfP Library: support standardizing and industrializing our RfP response process. Provide market insights and competitive intelligence. Collaborate with Product and Ops teams. Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned to drive collective improvement. Be part of a collaborative team that thinks big. Qualifications What we’re looking for: Proven ability to manage C‑level discussions and influence key decision‑makers, with a high level of formalism. Full working proficiency in French (C2+) and advanced level in English. Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity in a fast‑paced and intense environment. Collaborative mindset across various crews and communities. Strong desire to understand the French public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders. Based in (or willing to relocate to) the Paris area. Nice to have: Outstanding project management capabilities. Adaptability and resilience navigating the complexities of public sector sales cycle. Prior experience closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles and RfP experience. We aim to hire within the C0‑D level range. Everything else is a plus.
