Role Overview As a Senior Backend Engineer - PHP/GO/AI, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our B2B marketplace and service offering connecting brands with retailers. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of core engineers, product managers, UX designers, and engineering managers to solve challenging problems and help our users succeed. Main Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement solutions. Design, develop, and maintain backend services. Contribute to the evolution of our architecture. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate test coverage. Embrace new technologies such as AI when designing solutions. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the platform. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability. Participate in code reviews and mentor more junior team members. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing. Support the on‑call rotation to ensure platform reliability. Continuously improve development practices and processes. Tech Stack Front-end: Vue.js, Typescript, Vuex, sass, webpack Back-end: PHP 8.3, Laravel 10, Golang Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis Tools: GitHub, CircleCI, Sentry, Notion Preferred Experience 5+ years of professional experience in backend web development. Strong proficiency in at least one of our core languages: PHP or Golang. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL). Experience with message queuing systems. Knowledge of search technologies (Elasticsearch). Understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. Commitment to writing maintainable, tested code.
