This company specialises in the design and manufacture of high precision industrial machinery used in sectors such as medical, aerospace, automotive, and tooling. They are an established engineering business with an international customer base, supporting both machine build and aftersales work.
The role offers a mix of assembly, service, maintenance, and fault finding on complex equipment, with most of the work based on site and international travel making up around 30% of the position.
Responsibilities
- Carry out service, maintenance, and fault finding on high precision machinery
- Support machine assembly and build work on site
- Install and commission machines at customer locations
- Handle repairs, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting
- Provide customer support and complete service documentation
Experience Required
- Background in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field
- Strong electrical knowledge preferred, especially wiring, measurement, and fault finding
- Basic PLC understanding would be useful
- Mechanical experience with high precision machinery would also be relevant
- Comfortable with international travel of around 30%
