- Our client is an innovative Paris based technology company revolutionising automated medical imaging. They are developing a next generation robotic system that enables fully automated, high resolution, full body skin scanning in just minutes. The product is scheduled for commercial launch in 2025 and will play a major role in improving efficiency and accuracy for healthcare professionals.

Onsite role based in Paris
Your mission
- You will work closely with cross functional teams across computer vision, graphics, robotics, and machine learning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining core system architecture and software modules for a robotic medical device, from research to production.
- Designing and implementing high performance GPU based image reconstruction algorithms.
- Optimising core C++ and CUDA components to meet medical grade reliability, robustness, and performance requirements.
- Industrialising calibration pipelines and developing low level hardware drivers.
- Collaborating with software and machine learning engineers to improve system safety, accuracy, and overall user experience.
About you
- You will be successful in this role if you bring:
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving ability, and solid mathematical foundations.
- Extensive professional experience in modern C++ development using C++17 or C++20.
- Strong expertise in GPU programming and parallel computing, including CUDA and libraries such as CuBLAS, CuSPARSE, and CUTLASS.
- A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, multithreading, modern compilers, and performance optimisation.
- Experience or strong interest in computer vision, computer graphics, and or robotic control systems.
- Good knowledge of Git and industrial software development best practices.
- Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with libraries and frameworks such as Boost, Eigen, OpenGL, Protobuf, or Qt.
- Hands on experience with hardware interfacing, sensors, cameras, or low level driver development.
- Knowledge of network communication protocols and real time Linux systems.
- Background in optical physics or industrial imaging systems.
- Experience with testing, debugging, and profiling tools such as Google Test, Valgrind, GDB, or NVIDIA Nsight.
