Account Executive – Food & Beverage We’re expanding our Sales team in France and are looking for a full‑stack sales person to engage with prospects and turn them into happy Alan customers. You will focus on companies in the Food & Beverage industry, interacting with everyone from HR executives to CEOs. The segment covers producers, distributors, and intermediaries across the entire food supply chain, from fruits and vegetables to dairy products, beverages, meat, and specialty foods. Why this vertical is interesting: The team of six is passionate about the sector; companies here have diverse workforce structures, high turnover, supply‑chain sensitivities, seasonality, and a growing focus on sustainability and organic products. Many are SMEs or family‑owned businesses with less familiarity with modern economic solutions. HR priorities include recruitment, retention, and employee well‑being. What you’ll do You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. In our Food & Beverage Sales team, the average cycle is 6 months, dealing with companies ranging from 30 to 300 employees, with an average ARR of 150 K€. You’ll drive deals, close strategic opportunities, educate prospects, provide product demos, and onboard key stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition. We expect you to apply Alan Smart & Soft selling – ensuring an enjoyable prospect experience that integrates into the overall customer journey. You’ll also help us grow and improve by challenging product and strategy, and participating in initiatives to expand our customer base. Is it you we’re looking for? At least 4 years of experience managing the full sales cycle, with prospecting as a key part. Full‑working proficiency in French (C2+) and advanced level in English. Highly organized with exceptional follow‑up skills. Empathy and passion for understanding and solving prospects’ problems. Influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus‑building. Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models. Great attitude and collaborative spirit in a small team. Eager to learn fast and make an impact from day 1. Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz. We aim to hire within the C0‑D level range.
