Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Cannock, recognised as a leader in their field. They are seeking an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team. THE ROLE This is a permanent Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper position, providing the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and audit-exempt limited companies. Training and guidance are provided to help you progress in your career. Key Responsibilities: Prepare income and corporation tax computations. Undertake bookkeeping duties and produce VAT returns. Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections. Meet clients face-to-face to provide advice and support. REQUIREMENTS Experience in an accountancy practice (or strong desire to develop in this environment). Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge. Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Good understanding of income and corporation tax. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, team-oriented approach with a genuine passion for client service and professional growth. Additional Support: Study support towards professional qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
