Project Manager - Operation Technology (North America) Remote Contractor Public Job Main assignments To be responsible for the development of the product from all its perspectives, ensuring that the team is working collectively to build a good project; Act with stakeholders and manage their expectations, supporting decision‑making and problem‑solving; Represent the team in strategic meetings and position project decisions to stakeholders; Manage the activities of the product team, being able to manage more than one development team with the support of the Product Owner; Manage the backlog, through the construction of a strategic product roadmap; Establish the product strategy with clear delivery objectives; Validate suppliers suitable for product needs and customer expectations; Act with a total focus on providing customers with a great experience of innovative products and services that contribute to their satisfaction and the company's image; Drive operational improvements through R&D activities. Requirements Experience with operational technology (OT); Core Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); Industrial Networking: Understanding of OT specific protocols (e.g., Modbus, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA) and how they differ from standard enterprise IT; IT/OT Convergence: Ability to navigate the intersection where legacy plant floor equipment connects to modern enterprise networks (firewalls, DMZs, edge computing); Vendor Familiarity: Familiar with major industrial vendors (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Aveva, etc).
