About The Role We’re looking for a Founding Tech Recruiter to build out our team as we embark on our next phase of growth. Someone smart — connected to the tech world — that moves, operates fast and efficiently — a superstar, a pirate. You will operate as a strategic partner in the heart of the startup ecosystem, pioneering how we find, attract, and engage the world’s best talent. Zero-to-one impact: Design the recruiting systems, processes, and standards from scratch, and partner with product and engineering to refine our hiring approach. You’re a Fit If You… Have 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in‑house or at a search agency. Are at ease in startup environments and thrive amid ambiguity, rapid iteration, and high growth. Communicate clearly—both written and verbally—and make every candidate feel valued. Are well‑connected, respected by peers, and have a personal brand in the recruiting community (e.g., active LinkedIn, trusted network). Care deeply about quality, processes, and candidate experience. Are excited to work flexibly—this role is fully remote and freelance‑friendly. Nice to Have Previous experience recruiting at early‑stage startups or high‑growth tech companies. Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or B2B talent markets. Enjoy writing or speaking about recruiting, talent, or startup culture. Compensation & Benefits Flexible freelance contract with autonomy.
