Position: Fuel Commercial Contract Manager EDF is Westinghouse’s largest fuel customer. We serve EDF with various fuel‑related products and services: supply of fuel assemblies, components, fuel on‑site services, engineering programs, and R&D programs are also under development. General Job Function We serve EDF out of a large and global delivery base: our fuel plants in Sweden, US, UK, and our partner ENUSA in Spain; engineering offices in France, US, Sweden, Belgium; on‑site services offices in France and Belgium. Serving this important customer requires alignment and coordination of many resources to meet EDF’s expectations and working requirements. Building stronger customer intimacy, understanding cultural and language barriers, and capturing feedback are critical to drive issues to resolution, improve customer satisfaction, and grow opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities Support global contract management teams in achieving customer satisfaction and delivering contracts flawlessly and with agility. Understand and forecast customer needs. Manage manufacturing issues and developments. Address transport and delivery challenges. Evaluate security of supply. Oversee engineering projects management. Handle contractual aspects such as claims. Participate in offer development and negotiations, primarily for day‑to‑day offers and orders in direct support of our main contracts. Coach delivery organizations to understand and meet customer requirements and expectations. Act as a trusted voice of Westinghouse to the customer and vice versa. Collaborate with the Fuel Business Manager and the commercial team to develop and secure new business opportunities, support promotion of our products, services and capabilities to the customer, and capture Voice of Customer (VOC). Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or other relevant area. 5 years of experience in the (French) Nuclear business, preferably in fuel‑related areas. Customer relationship and communication skills: ability to create intimacy and build trust. Project management skills: understand issues, risks, and barriers; identify and drive teams to resolution. Business development skills: listen to needs, identify opportunities, and articulate solutions. Experience with EDF nuclear projects (minimum 3 years): mindset, working practices, customer situation and needs. Experience in nuclear fuel (manufacturing, engineering, commercial) is a plus and reduces learning curve. French – very fluent in speaking and writing. English – fluent in speaking and writing.
