Context & Mission

At Karos, we are constantly evolving to best execute our mission for our users and clients — and this is especially true today as we integrate BlaBlaCar Daily and enter a new chapter for the company.

To reflect this new reality and support our ambitions, we are creating a newTransformation & Performanceteam.

Its mission will be to help steer and continuously improve the company’s performance and drive the transformations needed to achieve our ambitions and build an organization that can scale efficiently and sustainably over the long term.

Over time, the mandate of the Transformation & Performance function will span five key areas:

• A. Strategic Steering & Decision Support:Partnering with the CEO to translate strategy into clear decisions, priorities, resource allocation, and execution frameworks.
• B. Performance Management & KPIs:Owning the company’s performance framework, KPIs, and review routines to align execution with strategy and drive corrective action.
• C. BI & Analytics:Leading BI and analytics to deliver reliable, actionable insights that support decision-making, both for our clients and within the company.
• D. Operating Model, Processes & Management Routines:Building scalable processes, decision-making mechanisms, and management routines that improve accountability, efficiency, and execution speed.
• E. AI Transformation:Accelerating AI adoption across the company and in our daily business processes, identifying and prioritizing high-impact opportunities, and progressively supporting their implementation and adoption across Karos.

This team is designed as an enabling and support function: helping teams identify and tackle priority topics, removing roadblocks, and accelerating the transformations that will make our organization more effective and performant.

Start small: The team is currently composed of 2 BI / Analytics Engineers and will grow progressively as it builds its capabilities and scope over time.

As Strategic Projects Lead, your mission is to be a catalyst of this transformation. You will :

• Be responsible for tracking progress of Strategic projects owned by business teams
• Support Strategic projects delivery, alongside business teams

1) Tracking progress of strategic projects

• You set up the right governance, rituals and tools to ensure an efficient tracking of project progress
• You create and maintain the right momentum and pace for the project
• You support each owner in tracking their open points, you anticipate blockers, elevate the info and act as facilitator by proposing ways of solving them (eg. helping structure the conversations or break down the problem so as to bring clarity and facilitate alignment)
• You coordinate transversal topics when needed: setting up the meetings to address them, clarifying objectives
• You are the safeguard of the project tracking structure, yet you remain flexible and adapt to reality
• You produce presentation and reporting on project progress adapted to your audience, including the ExCom and the Board of Investors

2) Support Strategic projects delivery

Your involvement on Strategic projects can vary depending on the project, spanning :

• You support and bring structure in framing problems, understanding the context, defining action plans, and conducting them. You identify the right stakeholders to be involved
• You support the preparation and facilitation of workshops with several stakeholders
• You identify which analyses to run to support decision making and you run them. You adapt your recommendation for next steps depending on what the analyses show.

Examples of Strategic projects

• Integration plan tracking: We just acquired BlablaCar Daily. During the first 6–12 months, your main focus will be to track the progress of our integration plan (more than 10 workstreams and stakeholders). Have ears and eyes on all topics to track their progress, anticipate blockers, support management of priorities, and support regular updates to the ExCom and the Board of investors.

Other potential Strategic projects:

• AI Acceleration
