Engineering Team We build infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first‑class service to our members, health professionals, and ourselves. Our stack is Python/Flask, React, React Native, PostgreSQL. Global Architecture Team Mission We aim to merge separate country‑specific codebases into global, configurable modules. The goal is to enable any team at Alan to develop and launch features seamlessly across markets, as outlined in our 2025 technical strategy. Your Mission Design Cross‑Cutting Modules – transform country‑specific implementations into elegant global components that become building blocks for other teams. Remove Technical Blockers – tackle blockers that cut across several domains, eliminating the need for team‑specific workarounds. Orchestrate Data Transformations – implement strategies to harmonize different countries' data models while preserving local flexibility. Build and Own What You Create – responsibility for the entire lifecycle of your solutions, from design to deployment and long‑term maintenance. Ability to navigate complex systems across multiple domains and technical boundaries. Experience with diverse architectural patterns and ability to articulate trade‑offs. Spot technical obstacles blocking multiple teams and design solutions to remove them. Is It You We’re Looking For? 5+ years of experience simplifying complex business problems. Ability to tackle high‑impact, high‑risk projects with many engineers. Design efficient systems and engineering practices that facilitate interactions between multiple teams/products.
