Job Description This position is fully based in Montreal. We are actively seeking candidates currently located in Europe who are open to relocating to Canada. Wearelookingfor aSafetyEngineerfor AdvancedVehiclesystemsto support the design,analysis, and validation ofsafety-criticalautomotivefeatures. Therolefocusesonensuringfunctionalsafetyand systemrobustnessforadvancedvehiclesubsystems(ADAS, E / E architecture,actuators,sensors). Responsibilities Conduct functionalsafetyanalyses (FMEA, STPA, SOTIF) foradvancedvehiclesystems. Support system designverificationand validation activitiestoensuresafetycompliance. Collaboratewiths oftware,electrical andvehiclesubsystemteams tointegratesafetyrequirements. Developandmaintain safetydocumentation : requirements,hazardanalyses,verificationevidence. Identifyandmitigatepotential failuremodes inadvancedvehiclecomponents. Qualifications Bachelor’sorMaster’sinElectrical / Computer Engineering,MechanicalEngineering, orrelatedfield. Experiencewith functionalsafety in automotivesystems(ISO 26262, ISO 21448). Familiaritywith ADAS oradvancedvehiclesubsystems. Practicalknowledgeof FMEA, STPA, or SOTIF methods. Strong communication and collaboration skillsacrossmultidisciplinaryteams.
