Technical Safety / Loss Prevention – Senior Engineer July 3, 2024 • Paris, France • Permanent DORIS is a fast-moving, technically diverse organization that drives engineering projects from feasibility to detailed design. We focus on conventional energies (Oil & Gas, LNG), renewable energies (offshore wind), and new energies (hydrogen, carbon capture). DORIS France is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Paris Headquarters. Job Description Your responsibilities will cover all markets addressed by DORIS – Oil & Gas, LNG, renewable and new energies, offshore and onshore engineering, green and brown‑field projects. You will manage engineering projects and discipline development. Responsibilities Prepare technical safety documentation during all engineering phases. Participate in safety workshops (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL review) and chair sessions when required. Review plot plans and 3D models. Plan and supervise site surveys, both onshore and offshore. Maintain vendor technical follow‑up, including RFQs, technical clarifications, and data reviews. Interface with clients and internal project teams. Prepare quotation offers and evaluate technical bids. Follow up subcontracted safety studies (FRA, ERA, EERA, QRA, TRA, dropped object study, ship collision study). Discipline Development You will participate in maintaining DORIS’s industry expertise, adapt methodologies to evolving state‑of‑the‑art techniques, and contribute to internal R&D activities and engineering tool development. Qualifications & Requirements Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on industrial risk control, loss prevention, or industrial safety. Minimum 5 years of offshore & onshore safety engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects. Fluent English – strong written and verbal communication skills. Good knowledge of applicable regulations, codes of practice, and international standards. Strong knowledge of PHAST and PipeNet. Familiarity with 3D model viewer software (Navisworks). Mobility required for collaboration with foreign DORIS subsidiaries and on‑site visits in France and abroad, both offshore and onshore.
