Within the Group Underwriting Office, you will join the P&C Commercial team, and specifically the P&C Sustainability underwriting team, which leads the Sustainability Underwriting strategy and coordinates the group’s efforts. Your Role and Responsibilities In the Group Underwriting Office Property & Casualty, reporting to the Head of Sustainability Underwriting, you will support the integration of AXA’s climate and sustainability ambitions by coordinating various projects. Contribute to the definition and execution of the AXA Group underwriting sustainability strategic plan. Support the portfolio decarbonisation framework and target execution. Develop and implement underwriting sustainability policies and guidelines. Create products and solutions to support climate and ecological transition. Monitor and report progress on key targets: transition underwriting, adaptation services, sustainable claims, insurance‑associated emissions, client engagement. Assist in communicating and outreach of the sustainability strategic plan through training materials and other communication tools. Coordinate the implementation of insurance‑associated emissions reporting, including scope 3 category 15, and monitor progress. Support voluntary and compulsory climate reporting related to CSRD and other requirements, coordinating with finance, sustainability and legal teams. Drive decarbonisation of claims activities and develop sustainable claims, managing working groups and monitoring KPI progress. Update and support the Sustainability UW Expert Network (PlanNet) coordination. Participate in the development of new product and service offers and their promotion. Assist entities with product reviews and the Product Approval Process. Your Profile Underwriting experience preferred, though not mandatory; other insurance industry experience is recognised. Strong capacity to learn quickly, tackle complex information and dive deep to understand it. Data‑driven approach to define problems, develop strategies and structure the path forward. Track record of delivering projects that span multiple teams and functions. Strong IT skills: programming or data‑analysis tools, plus PowerPoint and Excel. Good knowledge of key climate‑related recommendations and interest in ESG subjects. Very good written communication in English and French. Ability to synthesise information, summarise and organise key ideas. Comfortable in a multicultural environment. Autonomy, multitasking, prioritisation and ability to deliver on time.
