**1. Your environment**

- Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices;
- Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.

The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based avenue Matignon, 8th quarter of Paris, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with over 850 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

The position will integrate AXA Group Underwriting office team that brings together high level and multidisciplinary staff with engineers, actuaries and financials split between Paris, Zürich and Madrid.

They will focus on The P&C business, core to the AXA Group, operated in 20+ territories, with a wide mix of operating models, market shares and stages of development.

**2. Main purpose**

Within the Group underwriting office team, the main goal is to provide support AXA’s long-term strategy with respect to the Group Purpose: Act for human progress Protecting what matters. This includes steering the Group climate & biodiversity strategy, foster transition insurance targets and Sustainability insurance targets.

**3. Main activities**

It is by knowing the activities led by the job holder in his position that we will get a precise idea of its content. The objective is not to describe in an exhaustive manner what is done, but more about to explain the fundamental elements, especially the nature of the decisions that are taken, and the arbitrations carried out by the job holder.

Within Group Underwriting Office and with the Head of sustainable underwriting and the Head of Sustainability Metrics and solutions, you will support the Integration of Climate and sustainability AXA ambition in the coordination of different projects:

- Contribute to develop and implement sustainability policies and guidelines
- Research on climate and biodiversity-related matters for insurance activities
- Contribute to develop products and solutions to insure Climate & ecological transition
- Contribute to implement Net Zero UW targets

**Votre profil**:
**4. Your profile**
- Knowledge of Climate, Environmental, Biodiversity & sustainability challenges
- Research on climate and biodiversity-related matters for insurance activities
- An interest in or prior experience working on climate and sustainability in financial services
- Strong project management skills, able to follow complex projects with many actors
- Very good writing skills in English and French
- Strong IT skills: Power Point and Word and Excel
- Synthesis spirit, able to catch main ideas and to organize and summarize information
- At ease in a multi-cultural working environment
- Strong team player, including capacity to work in transversal teams with other departments and external stakeholders
- Autonomy, ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver on time
- Dynamism, reactivity, commitment Master’s Degree with a background in environmental, sustainability
