Responsibilities
- Accountable for ensuring the smooth flow of international shipments and flows
- Oversee customs operations and authorizations: ensure import/export compliance, secure declarations, and coordinate stakeholders
- Serve as the reference for complex topics (tariff classification, origin, valuation, customs regulatory monitoring)
- Manage nomenclatures (HS codes) and maintain systems (SAP, Conex)
- Lead strategic projects that impact Group performance
- Monitor performance, manage service providers, and handle reporting
Requirements
- Degree in customs or international trade
- Strong experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role
- Expert knowledge of customs regulations and related issues
- Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and propose practical solutions
- Comfortable with IT systems (Excel, SAP, CONEX)
- Strong interpersonal skills to persuade, train and secure buy‑in from teams
- Autonomous, rigorous and responsive
