We are redefining automotive sales with AI-driven image technology and provide a cutting-edge SaaS solution trusted by the industry’s top players.As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be joining the global #1 visual AI editing and optimization solution for the automotive industry, used by customers from all around the world. Due to our steady growth, we are expanding our CarCutter team. Our backend, built in Python, integrates with multiple APIs that trigger image-processing workflows and connect to our computer vision services. We use SQL databases and message queues to manage images, and deliver results directly to customer systems. Ensuring a smooth image flow and reliable operation of our containerized Linux services is critical, along with monitoring and improving our scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. The team follows industry best practices for source code management, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.ResponsibilitiesBackend software developmentImprovement and operation of our cloud computing environment (AWS)Improve automated testing (unit testing, end-2-end testing)Design and implement flexible solutions according to customer requirementsFocus on DevOps to make our engineers computer vision solutions available to all customersWorking as part of a young, dynamic team in a start-up environmentProfilMinimum of 5 years experience in (backend) software developmentExpertise in Python, and hands-on knowledge of Linux (system, networking)Experience with SQL databases and queue-based processingGood understanding of industry practices: architectures, protocols, containers, securityExperience with developing, operating, and monitoring cloud solutions (preferably on AWS)Practical knowledge on proper source code management, documentation, test pipelines, and CI/CDTeam player with proactive approach and high sensibility for qualityEnglish skills on a working proficiency levelDev @DiffuselyWe are ambitious and we set challenging objectives for ourselvesWe grow strong, we’re aiming at getting the best talents to work with usWe are a team of passionate people, with a strong accent on collaborationHiring processIntroductory video call with a recruiterConversation with the hiring manager to get to know each other and dive deeper into the roleTechnical assessment that reflects the real work at Diffusely (live coding & Q&A)Final interview with our CTO #J-18808-Ljbffr
