We are pleased to offer Chalet Host positions within our Relaxed Catered Chalets in Val d’Isère.
Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in France, either through an EU passport or a valid Carte de Séjour.
Role Overview
The dynamic and hands‑on position supports the Chalet Manager and the wider team in delivering an exceptional 5‑star guest experience. The primary focus is outstanding customer service, providing world‑class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest. As a Chalet Host you’ll be responsible for front‑of‑house duties and housekeeping services. This highly rewarding role involves frequent interaction with guests and team members. You will work a variety of shifts as part of a collaborative team, covering the full range of services outlined below.
Main Responsibilities
- Breakfast Service: Prepare the dining area, warmly welcome and seat guests, and take orders for hot food and beverages.
- Afternoon Tea: Present a light meal and beverages for guests to help themselves.
- Evening Service: Deliver a family‑style dining experience, including paired wines.
- Housekeeping:
- Conduct a thorough weekly changeover clean of the entire property, including a midweek linen change.
- Provide daily housekeeping for all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and the spa area.
- Ensure back‑of‑house and laundry areas are kept clean, well‑organised, and efficient.
- Guest Communication: Proactively engage with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly.
- Chalet Maintenance: Identify and report maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the Chalet Manager.
- Health & Safety: Uphold hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
- Supplier Relations: Support and enhance relationships with local suppliers where appropriate.
- Driving Duties: Provide in‑resort driving services for guests as required.
- Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and actively support Consensio’s environmental initiatives.

- Competitive base salary with paid overtime.
- End‑of‑season performance‑based bonus.
- Holiday pay (due to the busy nature of the winter season, it may not be possible to take holiday; therefore, you will be paid your holiday pay at the end of your employment contract).
- Accommodation will be in a shared bedroom with shared facilities.
- Meals will be provided whilst working.
- Full area ski pass reimbursement.
- Travel contribution if you are joining us from another location.
