OverviewJoin to apply for the Procurement Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) role at Experts Group International.An exciting opportunity to join a global Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on accelerating the clean energy transition. As Procurement Manager – BESS, you will lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management for Battery Energy Storage Systems across a growing European portfolio. This role combines commercial leadership with supply chain expertise, offering the chance to shape procurement in one of the most dynamic sectors in renewable energy.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies for BESS projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Lead tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiations for equipment and services.Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, OEMs, and technology providers.Collaborate with engineering, legal, and project delivery teams to align technical and commercial requirements.Monitor global supply chain risks, market dynamics, and cost trends in the energy storage sector.Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, industry standards, and ESG commitments.Drive continuous process improvements, focusing on supplier performance and cost optimization.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.5–7 years of procurement experience, ideally in renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure projects.Proven expertise in contract management, supplier negotiations, and international sourcing.Knowledge of BESS technologies, supply chain players, and procurement challenges.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in English; French proficiency is highly advantageous.What We OfferOpportunity to shape procurement for cutting-edge storage projects.A mission-driven international team based in Paris.Exposure to global supply chains and renewable technologies.Competitive compensation with career growth opportunities.Apply today or contact Rafe Petitt for a confidential conversation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
