As the People Project & Programs Lead, you will be critical in translating our People strategy into a seamless, high-impact reality for every Shifter, globally. You\'ll ensure our operations are simple, scalable, and compliant, so we can focus on what matters: growing our people and delivering for our customers. This role is for a structured thinker and a proactive problem-solver. If you\'re ready to jump in and get things done, simplify complexity, and help others succeed, you\'ll fit right in.Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we expect this person to be in the office 2-3 days per week.What You\'ll Be DoingYou will be the core driver of operational excellence across the entire Shifter lifecycle:Lead with Action: Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic People Team initiatives end-to-end.Build Scale and Efficiency: Build, streamline, and maintain People processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and simple for everyone to use.Drive Positive Impact (ESG/CSR): Lead the implementation and reporting of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG/CSR) programs, including managing documentation. This includes helping to evolve our global Go M.A.D. (Go Make a Difference) Days.Ensure Compliance: Oversee People compliance programs, including background checks, mandatory training, GDPR for our People systems, supporting our Sales Team with RFPs and our Security and Legal teams with internal/external audits.Own Our Knowledge: Be the owner of the People knowledge infrastructure. This includes reviewing and maintaining People policies, guidelines, and process documentation, ensuring the HRIS/intranet knowledge base is accurate and intuitive.Communicate with Impact: Support the development and execution of People Team communications, ensuring our employment brand and internal messages are simple and straightforward.Solve Problems: Serve as a point of escalation to diagnose process root causes and implement long-term solutions that make things simpler for all Shifters.What You\'ll Need to Succeed4+ years of hands-on experience in People Operations, HR project management, or a closely related operational field.A strong, practical understanding of HR processes, compliance, ESG frameworks, and operational best practices.Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—with the ability to deliver messages with clarity and impact.
