You join the Energy Transition & Natural Resources Industry Group (Advisory & Coverage) team as Sector Manager for Food, Agri & Natural Capital. This team’s mission is to support the development of the sector’s activities in investment banking (IB), mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as real assets (Real Assets, project financings) for the Bank’s clients and prospects. On a daily basis, your missions are to: Define and implement the strategy for clients in the Food, Agri & Natural Capital sector, by identifying opportunities for their development; Coordinate origination efforts in collaboration with the coverage team in France and on all platforms (Asia and Americas), meeting major clients in the sector both in France and abroad; Manage the execution of Advisory & M&A mandates, in particular in advising companies on mergers / acquisitions and advice on external rating and.or corporate debt structuring; Assist in the onboarding of new French and international clients and provide sector expertise during presentations for the origination of credit syndicates and investment banking services (IB, Project Finance, DCM/ECM, etc.). As a Sector Manager, you will participate in defining the Bank’s strategy in this area, in collaboration with management, risk management teams and ESG. You will also be involved in the execution of origination mandates, leading, if necessary, this execution with a pre-defined transaction team. An M&A, business development or financial advisory profile in the agri-food sector would also be relevant. You master: The agri-food sector and various natural resources in France and Europe; The various financial techniques (syndicated loans, project financing, borrowing base and supply chain); The key concepts in DCM, M&A, financial advisory and derivatives market; The tools of the Office Pack. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability and you are: Ready to travel in France and internationally. You master English with a B2 level. Spanish would be an asset.
