Since we opened our doors in 2009 the world of commerce has evolved immensely and so has Square. Were building a significant meaningful and lasting business and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.The RoleSquare is looking for an ambitious optimistic and results-driven Account Executive to join our Sales team in France.Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for developing and executing a commercial strategy to strengthen Squares presence in the French market. Youll work closely with a Business Development Representative (BDR) and our Marketing team to identify and engage high-potential businesses helping them accelerate their growth with Square.With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a problem-solving attitude youre able to translate customer needs into concrete opportunities. You have a proven track record of negotiating and closing deals with SMB and mid-market clients and you excel at managing complex sales cycles.As a brand ambassador for Square youll play a key role in driving our growth and building lasting relationships with our clients across France.Please note: We offer remote working opportunities within the city location and surrounding areas posted. Thank youYou WillRepresent Square to merchants across a wide range of industries (retail hospitality services etc.) highlighting the simplicity and power of our solutions.Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful customer journey.Achieve and exceed your monthly sales targets through a proactive outbound sales approach.Act as a consultative partner understanding each merchants challenges needs and goals to deliver a tailored solution.Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to share field insights and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our offerings.Leverage your commercial expertise to design and execute an innovative and effective go-to-market strategy.Participate in occasional international travel for team events or cross-functional projects.Visit merchants in person to strengthen relationships and support their growth.Grow your career through ongoing training mentorship and real opportunities for professional development.You Have2-3 years of sales experience ideally in a B2B or technology environment.Fluency in French and an excellent command of English both written and spoken.A proven track record in exceeding sales targets.Solid experience in business development including prospecting outbound calls and closing new clients.A strong sense of team spirit and a desire to contribute to collective success.Proficiency with CRM tools especially Salesforce and Salesloft to efficiently manage your pipeline and opportunities.What We OfferHighly competitive compensation package.Block stock allocation after successful completion of the probation period.Remote position with a required presence in Paris at least once a week.Edenred meal card.We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace.
