Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role
- Act as the primary technical support contact for the MG dealer network.
- Support dealers with complex diagnostics, repair methods and the use of diagnostic tools, in accordance with MG technical processes and manufacturer procedures.
- Manage and resolve technical support requests submitted by the network through the SNW technical support system.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complex fault-finding on all types of electrified vehicles, including Hybrid (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
- Ensure effective coordination, escalation and reporting of technical issues to the European Technical Support team.
- Provide occasional support to the Aftersales department, including the implementation of new processes, translation of technical documentation and other operational activities.
- Attend European technical training sessions and technical events as required.
Experience & Educational background & Expertise
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in automotive technical support
- Education/qualifications: Higher technical qualification, specialising in automotive engineering
- Proficiency in automotive mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- B2TL certification
- Professional proficiency in French and English, both written and oral
- Driving licence
