Microsoft Power BI Administrator & DeveloperAbout the job Microsoft Power BI Administrator & DeveloperMicrosoft Power BI Administrator & DeveloperPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Microsoft Power BI Administrator & Developer to design, develop, and manage enterprise business intelligence solutions, creating interactive dashboards and reports while ensuring data governance, security, and optimal performance across our Power BI environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPower BI DevelopmentDesign and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI DesktopCreate data models, relationships, and DAX calculations for complex business requirementsBuild paginated reports and mobile-optimized dashboards for various stakeholder needsDevelop real-time streaming dashboards and automated refresh schedulesImplement advanced analytics including forecasting, clustering, and statistical analysisPower BI AdministrationManage Power BI Service tenant settings, workspaces, and user access controlsConfigure data gateways for on-premises and cloud data source connectivityImplement row-level security, sensitivity labels, and data protection policiesMonitor usage analytics, capacity metrics, and performance optimizationManage Premium workspace allocation and Power BI Embedded configurationsData Integration & ModelingConnect to various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, SharePoint, and web APIsDesign and implement data transformation processes using Power Query M languageCreate reusable datasets and establish data refresh strategiesOptimize data models for performance and implement incremental data refreshCollaborate with data engineers on data warehouse and lake integrationsGovernance & TrainingEstablish Power BI governance frameworks, best practices, and development standardsCreate user documentation, training materials, and self-service analytics guidelinesConduct training sessions on Power BI Desktop, Service, and mobile applicationsImplement content certification processes and promote data literacy initiativesMonitor compliance with organizational data policies and regulatory requirementsRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills6+ years experience developing and administering Power BI solutionsExpert knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Service, and mobile applicationsProficiency in DAX, Power Query M, and advanced data modeling techniquesStrong SQL skills and experience with various database platformsKnowledge of Azure services, data warehousing, and ETL processesUnderstanding of data visualization best practices and UX design principlesAnalytical SkillsStrong business acumen with ability to translate requirements into technical solutionsExperience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and advanced analyticsKnowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality principlesUnderstanding of performance optimization and capacity planningPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fieldMicrosoft certifications (Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate)Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, SSRS) and migration strategiesKnowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languagesBackground in data architecture and modern data platform technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
