Reporting directly to the Head of Air Traffic Development, the Air Traffic Development Manager will be responsible for:

Aviation development activities for Groupe ADP airports in his/her geographical scope

  • Understand the competitive position of each airport through continuous competition benchmark, market monitoring and demand analysis.
  • Define, implement and monitor the Air Traffic Development (ATD) strategy and roadmap for each airport for scheduled flights/operations
  • Understand, coordinate and endorse the tourism pillars of the ATD strategy for charter/leisure flights (in collaboration with the Tourism Development Manager)
  • Identify the right market opportunities which support the ATD strategy and target the appropriate airlines/Tour Operator according to their network and commercial strategies (lead for all airports)
  • Prepare and present business cases for airlines, tour operators or any relevant travel organization.
  • In collaboration with Head of Traffic Forecast, participate to traffic forecast for Groupe ADP airports portfolio and airport acquisition projects and as a Project Manager, the ideal candidate will participate to aviation development consulting activities for external clients.

Focus on marketing and promotional activities

  • Work on marketing and promotional activities for air traffic development projects.
  • Coordinate these activities with external teams (airlines, tour operators, stakeholders) and internal partners (operations teams, communications teams, public affairs team, etc.).
  • Coordinate event participation with external stakeholders (registrations, contract agreements with event providers, stand agreements with 3rd party providers etc.) and internal stakeholders (Groupe ADP communication team and Groupe ADP airports' local teams etc.) and coordinate communication of event participations
  • Improving the CRM tool and continuously updating the contact list with the contact that are important to the team

Support airport community aviation development action across the Groupe ADP airports

  • Support local Aviation Development activities and projects with ah-hoc studies or training.
  • Identify Aviation Development best practices and share knowledge and expertise with local route development managers and conduct periodic meetings with local Heads of Aviation Development.

Desired experience

minimum 2 years of experience in the Airline/Airport industry (In Network Planning preferably) or in consultancy firms or in relevant Marketing/Commercial position

Good knowledge of airline network development strategy and familiarity with route analysis tools (DIIO, Airport IS, Saber for example) and airline-oriented business cases

Requirements

Key skills needed:

Proficiency in MS Office, especially a deep proficiency of MS Excel and Power point

Capability for different coding languages (Python etc.) and web scrapping tools (Selenium) is a plus

Ability to deliver commercial presentations and to wide audiences (up to C-level)

Analysis and data collection skills

Genuine interest in the airline and tourism industry

Aptitude in creative problem-solving

This position requires ability to travel internationally up to 1 week every 2 months

Home office: 3 days per week
