Delegated Authority Audit and Governance, Manager - Continental Europe Join Sompo as a Delegated Authority Audit and Governance Manager in Continental Europe, overseeing the delegated audit and governance function across the region. This role ensures adherence to underwriting and claims guidelines, local and regional regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and governance frameworks for delegated authority arrangements. Location: Based in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, or Milan, working in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee delegated authority frameworks for coverholders, MGAs, and third‑party administrators. Coordinate audit and governance processes, including developing comprehensive audit plans. Lead internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of findings. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with delegated arrangements. Maintain governance frameworks and prepare regular reports for senior leadership. Engage with underwriting, claims, compliance, risk, and legal teams to align governance practices. Deliver training and guidance on audit and risk management to internal teams and delegated partners. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Audit, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of audit, risk management, or governance experience in insurance or financial services. Expertise in delegated authority models (MGAs and TPAs). Deep knowledge of Continental European regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
