This focus drives the development of new offerings across the Group's three service lines—Professional, Leisure, and Proximity—which cater to the specific needs of both businesses and individuals.The Group’s major brands include:Europcar - the European leader in car rental and light commercial vehicle rental,Goldcar - the low-cost car rental leader in Europe,Ubeeqo – a European leader in round-trip car-sharing (BtoB, BtoC).It provides mobility solutions worldwide through an extensive network in over 140 countries, including wholly owned subsidiaries (18 in Europe, 1 in the USA, 2 in Australia and New Zealand), complemented by franchises and partners.Job DescriptionMain objectives:Assess risks related to used car residual values and fleet maintenance and repairs.Provide recommendations to the Group on acceptable risk levels within the fleet.This role reports to the Group Head of Fleet Risk Management.Major Areas of AccountabilityThe Group Fleet Risk Manager is responsible for:Defining risk levels for specific countries related to fleet maintenance and repairs.Providing data-driven recommendations based on statistical forecast models and automotive market knowledge, contributing to decision-making:Conversion from buy-back to at-risk fleetRevaluation of at-risk fleet and risk provisionsForecasting maintenance and repair costs based on market trends, technological evolution, macroeconomics, and strategic considerationsOrganizing and leading residual value committees to review market trends, macroeconomic factors, and forecast adjustments.Participating in maintenance and repair forecasts to assess risk levels and support business decisions.Ensuring compliance with Group procedures related to risk management across countries.Internal and External RelationshipsCollaborates with:Group asset management team: fleet data scientist, maintenance & repairs, remarketing, data and market analystsGroup fleet sourcing teamGroup financeCountry fleet & finance teamsQualificationsPersonal Profile:Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data science, statistics, or mathematics5+ years of risk management experienceStrong understanding of data analytics and modelingProficiency in Excel, SAS, VBA, or similar analytical platformsInterest in automotive industry and economic theoryLanguages: Fluent English and one other European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish)Core CompetenciesNecessary for success:Strong leadership skillsAnalytical thinkingExcellent communication and presentation skillsAdditional InformationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, sex, color, religion, national origin, or disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
