We're looking for experienced econometrics instructors and quantitative economists to help shape the next generation of AI. Your deep knowledge of statistical methods and economic reasoning will directly influence how AI systems understand, explain, and apply econometric concepts — work that matters at a global scale.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role powered by Alignerr (by Labelbox), one of the leading platforms connecting subject-matter experts with cutting-edge AI research.

- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review and validate econometric questions, models, and explanations used in AI training datasets
- Assess statistical accuracy, underlying assumptions, and the quality of results interpretation
- Identify errors, logical gaps, and edge cases that could mislead AI reasoning
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve model outputs and explanatory clarity
- Apply your real-world teaching and research experience to elevate the quality of AI-generated quantitative content
- Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience teaching econometrics or quantitative economics at a college or university level
- Strong command of regression analysis, causal inference, and applied statistical methodsAbility to clearly evaluate and explain complex quantitative reasoning
- Comfortable reviewing structured, technical content with precision and consistency
- Self-motivated and reliable — you can manage your own time and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Master's or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as R, Stata, or Python
- Familiarity with AI model evaluation or data annotation workflows
